  • Nizar Juma

    Host future of power is the initiator and host of the Future of Power project. Since 1968, Nizar has been a leader in industrial and commercial businesses principally within Africa and Canada. He is best known as the manufacturer of Adidas sports equipment for 49 countries in and around Africa. Nizar has also been actively involved in a voluntary capacity as Chairman of the Boards of The Aga Khan Development Network in their social welfare activities, including not-for-profit hospitals. He is currently chairman of over 50 companies including power generation, fibre optics cabling systems, agriculture, banking, packaging, leather processing, hotels, pharmaceuticals, insurance and property development. Nizar was awarded the Silver Star by the President of Kenya for outstanding services to the Nation.

  • Julie Nazerali

    Julie Nazerali is a dual qualified British and Belgian lawyer specialising in EU and competition law, for which she is recommended by legal directories as “Best of UK, leading lawyer". She previously worked in the European Commission and the European Parliament and sits on various non-executive boards. She is the co-founder and President of INSEAD’s Global Women in Business Clubs in 18+ countries, chairs INSEAD’s Inclusive Leadership Initiative focussing on equity, diversity and inclusivity in business, inspired by the UN’s sustainability goals and the founder of INSEAD’s mentoring programme, impacting ± 65,000 alumni around the world. She is inspired by the teachings of the Brahma Kumaris, which she applies as values every day to her life. In her spare time, Julie is a powerlifter, runner, skier and balances life with yoga - she loves reading, adventure travelling and the power of nature. Her motto is “Ubuntu” - “I am, because you are”.

  • Maureen Chen

    Maureen Chen from Australia began her association with the Brahma Kumaris in 1977. Based in Asia since 1981 she has helped to establish and sustain BK centres throughout Asia. In Hong Kong she was the Chairperson of Unity for Peace, Secretary of the Living Values Education and Secretary of the Asian Business Leadership Exchange, ABLE and helped to establish Food Link, linking hotels and restaurants with social welfare organisations. In Cambodia she was instrumental in setting up Living Values Education programmes and a social enterprises for victims of landmines, the Khmer Independent Life Team.

    In August 2010, she moved to India and has exclusively devoted her time and efforts to The Future of Power project.

  • Neetu Gupta

    Neetu is the Communication Head. She has over 25 years of professional experience spanning from General Administration, Operations Management and Customer Relationship Management in Telecom, BPO & Asset Management verticals catering to a plethora of client constituents including HNIs, brokers, bankers, corporate. She has been practicing Raj Yoga with Brahma Kumaris since childhood. She is a Spiritual Counselor and conducts meditation courses at Brahma Kumaris centres.

    Facilitator & MC strategic marketing consultant experienced in all five continents in the health care, nutrition and food fields.Currently working with Nestle to establish ‘Creating Shared Value’ as the central operating philosophy of the company.

  • Nitin Singhal

    Manages media and logistics as core team member. Professionally, he has been exploring various business environments and its components for over 30 years. Having created and led teams in direct marketing, institutional sales and facilitated international tie ups and currently in business of real estate development and providing cashflow solutions to real estate developers in India. Being a student of transformation, he has participated in various capacities with Landmark Worldwide and currently Coaching in Communication Curriculum and has been practicing Raj Yoga with the Brahma Kumaris for over 17 years.

    Media B.Com , Cost Accountancy, Mumbai University. She is a dedicated instructor at Brahma Kumaris for the last 18 years, having been associated since childhood. She has travelled extensively in India and abroad for conducting and attending many seminars, conferences and workshops for many reputed organizations across all sectors and to people of all professions. She is currently based at the headquarters in Mt. Abu, anchoring the B K Peace of Mind channel

The emphasis in her work is on the power of narrative, both personal and system-wide, as a catalyst for transformation. For the past twenty years she has worked with thought leaders in the fields of management and organizational science such as Tom Peters and Peter Senge to translate their ideas into various media. For many years she has designed and facilitated dialogues to generate positive change in individuals and in the systems in which they work. In addition to a range of media and dialogue projects, she is executive director of a not-for-profit organization called Images and Voices of Hope, which is dedicated to supporting media as an agent of world benefit. She is also a long time student of raja yoga.

    Caroline Ward is an Australian living in Latin America, working across the world. She is a guide, specialising intransition and transformation – designing and facilitating ways for individuals, groups, organizations and largepopulations to embrace the challenges of changing paradigms.Her work for almost 20 years has focused on developing global awareness of how the feminine principle is afundamental force and significant power in the current systemic renewal.Caroline is the author of two books: The Four Faces of Woman and Mi Coraje, Tu Coraje (My Courage, Your Courage).She has been studying and teaching meditation and spiritual wisdom with the Brahma Kumaris for 20 years.

    Erik Larson, Director of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization (USA). A BKWSU representative to the United Nations and a Bureau member for the NGO Committee on Freedom of Religion or Belief. He has facilitated training for major companies such as Philip Morris, Ingersoll Rand Company and Dow Jones & Company and is a Certified Instructor in Appreciative Inquiry and Self-Managing Leadership. As a volunteer with the Brahma Kumaris he regularly conducts workshops on The Art to Relax, Positive Thinking, Stress-Free Living and Transformational Thinking.

    Neville Hodgkinson is a writer and journalist who worked for more than 20 years as medical and science correspondent of several national newspapers in the UK. His first book, Will To Be Well – the Real Alternative Medicine (Hutchinson, UK, 1984; Samuel Weiser, USA, 1986) was one of the first to describe the intimate links between health and happiness in terms of modern scientific findings. His interest in mind-body medicine led him to take up the practice of meditation and spiritual study in the early 1980s, and he has been a student for over 30 years with the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University. He is chairman of the Janki Foundation for Global Health Care, a UK-based charity which encourages research and awareness in the field of spirituality and health.In his last full-time journalistic post, as science correspondent of the London Sunday Times, he became involved in a scientific controversy over the causes of AIDS, reporting from several central African countries in the course of an investigation that challenged the HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) theory. His book about this controversy, AIDS: The Failure of Contemporary Science (Fourth Estate, 1996) argued for a much wider view of the origins of the syndrome than conventional theory allows, and ended with an appeal for a rethink of science’s observational methods, checks and assumptions.

Presenting political, economic and social news gave Rania a keen interest in the search for peace and truth. Quitting her news presenter job, she became a student and teacher of Raja Yoga Meditation with the Brahma Kumaris where she now organizes, coordinates and presents spiritual programs, seminars and retreats.

    Silvana Dimech-Conti Management Consultant & University LecturerSilvana has a long-standing career in investment banking at senior management level; setting up foreign banks in Australia after the deregulation of the financial markets. As a finance professional, with over 30 years’ experience in treasury, risk anagement and complex project management, she is now the CEO of a boutique management consulting firm; working with boards and senior management of blue chip international companies in the area of strategy and deep system organisational change – including HR strategy, leadership coaching and values-based cultural transformation.Silvana is also a multi award-winning university lecturer (MBA Program), lecturing in organizational theory and behaviour and is a past member of the educational board for the Graduate Management Association (Aust.).She is extensively involved in pro bono work in Australia and overseas and chairs/sits on not-for-profit Boards. Her special interest area is facilitating NFPs to a better future by engaging the minds and hearts of their people and emerge the wisdom already inherent in the system

    Stephen has 26 years experience as a Health Administrator and Consultant. He has worked in Australia and the UK for government and trust hospitals, as well as for a Cancer Research NGO.Stephen currently works as the Manager of Organisational Development at the J Watumull Global Hospital and Research Centre, Mount Abu, Rajasthan and has been a teacher of meditation for many years and travels extensively to facilitate meditation retreats.

  • Dr Sarah Eagger

    Dr Sarah Eagger is a consultant psychiatrist and honorary senior clinical lecturer at the Department of Psychological Medicine at ImperialCollege in London. Past chair of the Spirituality and Psychiatry Special Interest Group and also a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, she continues to serve on the executive. She also chairs the Spirituality and Faith Committee covering six hospitals in the most populated boroughs of London, and is a trustee and past chair of a charity, the National Forum for Spirituality and Mental Health. Her particular interests include training mental health professionals in assessing patients’ spiritual needs.
    Dr Eagger is the co-ordinating editor of a facilitators’ manual for healthcare professionals, Values in healthcare: a spiritual approach published in 2004. This is a unique experiential-based facilitators training which has been delivered to healthcare workers throughout the world. Dr Eagger is especially interested in the spiritual aspect of the holistic model and has practised and taught meditation in various health service settings for many years. She has also spoken on aspects of holistic health, positive psychology, and consciousness and spirituality at national and international conferences. She recently organised and chaired conferences in the USA, Australia and UK on the integration of spirituality into healthcare.

    Arnold Desser BA (Hons), CAc (China), MBAcC, FHEA, MAcME *For many years Arnold has facilitated hospital doctors and primary care physicians in London in developing their consultation, teaching and clinical supervision skills. He also works in the National Health Service in the UK with chronically ill patients and their families, helping them to explore how patterns of communication and their cultural and spiritual beliefs impact on their illnessArnold is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Member of the UK Academy of Medical Educators and an Education Consultant to the London Deanery of Postgraduate Medical Education. He recently retired as associate professor with the School of Biosciences and Integrated Health at the University of Westminster, London.

  • Mohini Punjabi

    Mohini Punjabi, an outstanding spiritual leader and highly respected teacher who has studied and practised Raja Yoga as taught by the Brahma Kumaris for more than 50 years. She is the President of the Brahma Kumaris Organisation in the USA and a primary representative at the United Nations in New York. She is also actively involved in the administrative matters of the university and serves as an advisor to international projects and in interactions with non-governmental organizations and inter-faith organizations. She has served as an ambassador of the Brahma Kumaris in meeting several heads of state and diplomats. She is also a regional coordinator of the BKs for the Americas and Caribbean. BK Mohiniben is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and seminars on spiritual issues and has inspired thousands of people, touching their lives and bringing clarity of thought and insight into their outlook.

  • Brij Mohan

    Brij Mohan is the Principal Secretary and a main spokesman of the Brahma Kumaris and also Secretary of the Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation and the Editor of “Purity” monthly newspaper. He is also a Chartered Accountant. He has represented the organization at United Nations conferences in New York and international conferences all over the world. He started the correspondence courses of Rajyoga Meditation in eight different languages and has written spiritual books elucidating deep spiritual concepts.

  • Brahmakumari Chandrikaben

    Brahmakumari Chandrikaben has been an instrument for many innovations and research in the institution. Presently, as a National Coordinator of the Youth Wing of Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation, she has initiated several nationwide projects, youth festivals, seminars, workshops, etc. and was awarded with Gujarat Gaurav Award in 2002 for her services. The Youth Wing has been awarded the Guinness World Records & Asia Book of Records for Sand Painting, the Limca Book of Records for Padyatra (walk on foot) and the India Book of Records for a ‘Letter to God’ project. Based at Stadium Branch of the Brahma Kumaris, she manages more than 30 branches of the Brahma Kumaris, a Training Centre for Youth, and a retreat house in Valad, Gandhinagar District.
